A career in security, governance & national policy
Chris Ngwodo is the Director-General of the newly established Office for Strategic Preparedness and Resilience (OSPRE), Nigeria's national early warning centre.
Prior to this assignment, he served as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Policy Research in the Office of the Vice President — advising at the highest levels of government on strategy, research and national policy.
Over the past decade, he has served on various initiatives focused on conflict, security, governance, humanitarian interventions, peace and development — building a body of work at the intersection of research, policy and practice.
In his current role, he leads the Office mandated to identify and address threats to human security and to promote a culture of preparedness and resilience in Nigeria.
